USC Shoah Foundation, The Institute for Visual History and Education is dedicated to making audio- visual interviews with survivors and other witnesses of the Holocaust, and other genocides. The Institute's current collection of more than 53.000 eyewitness testimonies preserves history as told by the people who lived it, and lived through it. Within IWitness, it is possible to view with students differentiated, selected pieces from the collection of witness reports in a safe, protected digital community which includes background information.

NIOD develops educational material which applies to various levels of secondary and higher education.
