the illicit trade in stolen antiquities;
the cultural impact of World War II to this day and the return of looted works of art, ritual objects and books;
the lasting effects of colonialism and the restitution of misappropriated objects and ancestral remains.

The Expert Centre Restitution of NIOD is a partner in this programme, offering students opportunities to take a course taught by NIOD staff active in the field of restitution.
