Iwona Gusc (NIOD- KNAW), Koes Leurs and Barbara Titus (Utrecht University) received a bursary for research in the field of Culture and Identity. A jury selected their proposals during a presentation competition, organized by the Council for the Humanities (RGW) of the KNAW.
The Council for the Humanities (RGW) of the Academy proposes three scholarships in the field of Culture and Identity. The scholarships of € 9,000 each are intended to prepare an NWO application or a European research application. The Academy wants to help young researchers with the process of submitting a grant application, and also give a boost to the research agenda culture and identity.
NIOD-reseacher Iwona Gusc focuses on the research topic of Polish migration to and from the Netherlands in the period 1914-1962.
