Information Specialist

Annelies van Nispen (1969) works as an information specialist/archivist at NIOD Institute for War-, Holocaust and Genocidestudies. Her tasks are connecting the collections of the NIOD to the possibilites of the digital world. She gives advise on digital processes  and new possibilities. She will participate in implementing new ways of working.  She works as a projectleader for the Netwerk War Sources  http://www.oorlogsbronnen.nl/ and cooperates with Dutch archives, museums and libraries to liberate their collections. She also works on international projects as European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI) and Parthenos.  Her expertise consist of Digital preservation, metadata & metadata-standards, findability & searchability of digital collections. 

Annelies has studied History at Leiden University and Library and Information Science at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
