
Annelies van Nispen is information analyst at the Collection and Services department.
Her primary focus is on harmonising the collection with the possibilities of the digital world. She advises on digital processes and new possibilities. She is also involved in implementing new practices and digital processes and ensuring long-term sustainable accessibility.
The 'Oorlog uit Eerste Hand: Oorlogsbrieven (1935-1950) van het NIOD digitaal' ('War from First Hand: War Letters (1935-1950) from NIOD Digital') project is now an important part of her work. In the past, she has worked on Netwerk Oorlogsbronnen (NOB - War Resource Network), the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI) and Parthenos. Her areas of expertise are digital sustainability, metadata and metadata standards, findability and searchability of digital collections, thematic retrieval and terminology resources.
