Daphne Rusche, MA

National Coordinator EHRI-NL

Daphne Rusche is the National Coordinator of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure Netherlands (EHRI-NL) at the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

EHRI-NL makes Dutch collections, expertise and research on the Holocaust and the Second World War accessible and usable for an international network of researchers, archives and memorial sites.

Daphne coordinates the network and develops the programme for EHRI-NL.

Previously, she led NIOD's Expert Centre Restitution and focused, amongst other things, on cataloguing and making accessible the archives relating to Anne Frank’s manuscripts, as well as researching material history.

In previous roles, she worked as an advisor at the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands and as an art and antiques appraiser. Daphne studied Arts and Culture Studies and Museum Studies at the University of Amsterdam.
