Jesse Breet, BA

Biography

Jesse Breet works part-time at the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust, and Genocide Studies reception desk. In addition to his job at NIOD, he is studying for a Research Masters in History at the University of Amsterdam, in which he is focusing on courses and themes from the MA in Holocaust & Genocide Studies.

He is also interested in the presentation of history in non-written forms; for example, he worked on the ‘Nederland in Blik’ podcast series about Dutch history in feature films, which was released in the spring of 2021. He hopes to graduate in 2022 and then to keep studying and writing about history, either in an academic or in a more general history-related role.
